| The Erminia self catering holiday chalet and Pissouri village are well served by local shops, banks, restaurants and amenities. We highlight some of the best below. |
Restaurants & Taverns |
The Bunch of Grapes is one of the oldest buildings in Pissouri and the restaurant is certainly one of the best. Well worth a try but you must book, especially at a weekend. |
The Symposium restaurant has recently re-located from the beach area and offers a good position for watching the weekly Greek dancing on a Wednesday evening. The Vraka and the Pissouri Square Tavern are also in the square. |
The Pissouri Square Tavern has been run by the same person for many years. Aristo offers good food and another ideal spot to watch the Greek dancing. |
The Vraka is next door to the Symposium and is the third restaurant in the village square. Good service and good food and well worth a try. |
The Dakosta serves a variety of pizza which can be consumed on or off the premises. Sit and have a beer at the Sparti bar next door, order a pizza and sit there and eat it. |
This is the only Chinese restaurant and take-away in the village and surrounding area. You can ring your order from Erminia then pop down and collect it. |
The Sparti Bar, run by Leon and Georgina, is one of the best places to sit and while away an hour or two. Just off the main villlage square it is a good place to "people watch" and there are numerous restaurants around should you fancy a bite to eat. Next door is the Dakosta pizza shop so you can order one and sit at the Sparti and eat it. |

Banks, Shops & Cash Points |
The Bank of Cyprus is situated in the village square, next door to the Iron Horse bar. The opening hours of the bank vary between seasons so it is best to check when you first arrive. There is a 24hr ATM (hole in the wall) service at this bank. |
The Co-op Bank is also situated in the main village square next door to Andreas's supermarket. Check opening hours as they also depend on the season. 24hr cash point is available. |
The Laiki bank is situated just off the main village square just to the side of the steps up to the telephone kiosk. There is also a 24hr ATM in a hole in the wall. |
Andros is the largest supermarket in Pissouri and is in the square next door to the Co-op Bank. |
Galatia supermarket is another convenience store worth visiting. |
| A local Pharmacy is available, along with post office, Police station and petrol filling station. |
