Since the new kitchen was installed in 2007 there has been further improvements to the property. In 2008 Erminia was decorated throughout, the internal walls emulsioned and the blue doors returned to white.

In May 2009 the balcony was relayed using a light terracotta tile replacing the marble effect which has been down since the construction of the property.

Also in May all the windows and both patio doors were replaced with white aluminium double glazed units with sliding insect screens. The main bedroom patio door and the east facing window in bedroom 2 have been fitted with white aluminium louvres.

In July this year the entire floor of Erminia, with the exception of the bathroom, has been laid with laminate flooring and the lounge now has a glass fronted electric fire to benefit guests using Erminia in the winter.
