The kitchen re-vamp in Erminia is now complete.

The stainless steel oven is fan assisted with a built in grill, the hob is electric with a ceramic top and there is also a new stainless steel chimney hood. The microwave doubles up as an additional grill and the new taps have the third lever for the drinking water. There are also 'soft close' drawers in the units.

The satellite dish and cabling are now complete and the service is up and running.

Whilst I was installing the kitchen I had several good meals at the Pissouriana Taverna (just outside the village square on the way to the theatre). All the food is prepared by Joan and her team and include Steak in Ale pie, fish and chips, chicken curry and a very tasty chicken and mushroom pie. Almost forgot, duck in plum sauce as well. Very good. All served with either vegetables and/or chips. I didnt get to try the Sunday roast which I hear is also excellent value for money. Give it a try.
